tiny size, big ambition
We're not just a small business. We're a tiny business. Like that independent cafe you love with the two or three staff. Except instead of serving tables we make them.
The goals for our furniture are very specific: high quality, simple, aesthetically balanced, environmentally low impact, and reasonably priced.
There's a reason furniture like this is hard to find: It's difficult to make money from it. So, like the wood we use, our business grows slowly. Like the wood we use, this gives us strength.
If you have any questions you can give us a call. We're a friendly bunch and you'll probably speak to the same person most of the time, which makes things easier.

Every one of our products is handcrafted in the UK by our small team of dedicated craftspeople.
Each piece is unique. Each piece tells a story. It's the story of the fifty-odd years from sapling to sawmill, from sawmill to our workshop. Then to its new home, where it will last as long as you want it to last. How will the story continue?
